 Suzanne DeYoung has just completed her first novel, “A Love Foretold”. A Native Chicagoan, DeYoung has chosen her city and its historical landmark, Navy Pier, as the backdrop for a tale of romance in the world of the paranormal. She introduces us to Kady and Colin, two young people drawn together by their psychic abilities, who find love as they uncover a century old family mystery.
For the past 32 years, Suzanne has been married to childhood sweetheart Dennis DeYoung. He is the former lead singer, composer and keyboardist for the multi-platinum rock group Styx. Acting as advisor personal manager and confidant, she has accompanied Dennis as Styx toured the world many times over. While on the road she raised her two children CarrieAnn and Matthew from backstage to hotel, to “Sweet Home Chicago”!

 Dennis, who wrote the hit songs “Lady”, “Babe”, and “Best of Times” for his wife, says, “Suzanne is the love of my life, and has been my greatest inspiration.” Dennis surprised his wife writing and recording a song entitled “A Love Foretold”, which will be included in the packaging of this novel.
With both children now grown, Suzanne manages Dennis as he tours the country performing a retrospective of his career accompanied by an orchestra and rock band, with Suzanne on backing vocals.
